Full of all-natural vitamin A, 100 percent pure, unrefined, raw shea butter has a lot of uses. Indeed, because raw shea butter is extremely moisturizing and very hydrating, when applied to the skin, it provides immediate softness and smoothness.
1. Shea butter is great for moisturizing your skin:- Shea butter is a great moisturizer for the face and the body. It locks in the moisture in the skin and keeps it hydrated for long. Shea butter can nourish the skin with its fat content. It can also help to soften the skin on your hands and feet and make it supple. It penetrates the skin easily and is effective for dry skin.
2. It helps in the treatment of acne and blemishes:- Shea butter is known for its healing properties, which can be attributed to the presence of several fatty acids. Raw, unrefined shea butter is effective in curing skin rashes, skin peeling after tanning, scars, stretch marks, frost bites, burns, athletes foot, insect bites and stings.
3. Shea butter helps prevent hair loss:- The fatty acids of shea butter condition the scalp and hair while also providing essential nutrients that improve both scalp and hair health. They make hair follicles stronger and reduce hair fall and hair loss. Another important property of shea butter that can prevent hair loss is its anti-inflammatory properties. 4. It is of great help in reducing razor irritation and bumps:- Shea butter can help reduce razor irritation and bumps as it soothes the irritated skin. It can also be applied a day prior to shaving to smoothen the skin and hair. This will make the shaving process easier and faster and doesn't leave any irritated spots behind.
5. It is a natural anti-aging method:- Shea butter is considered as one of the best anti-aging agents for the skin. The vitamins A and E found in this butter keep the skin supple, nourished, and radiant. If used regularly, it reduces wrinkles and also prevents premature wrinkles and facial lines. carrots are actually very helpful in building soft, supple skin and aiding in hair growth and strengthening
applied externally.
Instead of using all those commercially prepared shampoos, conditioners, lotions, etc. — which all
contain preservatives and chemicals — it’s better to use a natural oil, likewise reducing your risk for
unwanted allergic reactions.
Carrot oil is very easy to make at home and it is extremely beneficial for the hair and skin.
The benefits of carrot oil include — but are not limited to:
• healing damaged skin
• warding off the dreaded signs of aging
• stimulating hair growth
• creating luxuriously, soft-to-the-touch hair
• improving blood circulation
• protecting hair and skin from the damaging effects of weather, pollution, dust, sunlight, chemicals, treatments, and the like

• pot
• Fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
• Empty bottle
. measuring cups.
-2 organically or home grown carrots
-Almond oil or you can use olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, or sesame oil, to cover I used Almond oil because Almond oil too lightens the skin.
1. Wash and peel the skin of the carrots.
2. Grate carrots with the use of a hand grater.
3. Place the grated carrots in a pot and pour the oil of your choice to cover. Note: I used 1cup of Almond oil.
4. maintain a warm temperature — start frying for about 15 -20 min when You will notice the oil becoming orange in color(yelowish)and the carrots floating in the oil bring the pot down.
5. You have to infuse the oil for some hours, I mean leave it to cool. Once the infusion process is complete, pour the carrots and oil mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth and strain.
6. Reserve the oil and compost the carrots.
7. Label and store the oil in a bottle in the refrigerator until ready for use. Will keep for 6-8 months if stored properly.
